La construction didactique collective d’un dispositif d’échanges entre conseillers agricoles pour accompagner leurs transitions professionnelles

Abstract : We study the activity of a peer-group facilitator, in this case agricultural advisers, as an intervention activity. Using professional didactics, we shed light on the collective construction that takes place to enable the members of this group to rediscover their “acting in competence” through the collective production of a framework for : (i) rethinking the content of their work, the reasoning behind their action and overcoming the conflicts of aims and dilemmas that emerge in the conduct of the action; (ii) configuring their work situations in order to overcome the impediments of the activity. We first present the changes experienced by agricultural advisers (in relation to agri-food transitions), then the project and the mechanism on which our study is based, a mechanism based on the analysis of work situations. We point out the way in which this exchange mechanism is constructed along the way with a developmental aim. We underline what the peer facilitators of such a system hold true in this construction on the way. We point out the adjustments made in the content and the settings they propose in order to make work situations learning and to put the trade into debate. We suggest that, during this construction, the peer facilitators teach the joint exchange work between the participating counsellors to help them think and do their trade differently.
